How does Simple Feast work?
Our meals delivered directly to your door with our distribution partner, Mover. When you order for the first time, we sent your first box of meals as quickly as possible. The delivery depends on the delivery interval and product, that you have chosen. We deliver on every Tuesday between 7 am and 5 pm, with a few exceptions due to Bank Holidays.

Why would I sign up for a subscription?
At Simple Feast, it is possible to order one-off boxes and to sign up for a subscription. In order to plan the number of meals in the best way possible avoiding food waste and thus be even more environmentally friendly, we prefer you have a subscription. Your subscription will always be without binding yourself to anything, and you can always skip a delivery, pause your subscription or unsubscribe by using our app ‘Simple Feast – Min mad’ or send an e-mail to kundeservice@simplefeast.com.

How is my meal box delivered?
Our meal boxes are delivered on Tuesdays between 7 am and 5 pm. The box is delivered directly to your door. We deliver all over Denmark, except islands not connected to bridges (including Bornholm). The evening before your delivery, Mover sends a text with a closer timeframe of two hours.

Who delivers my box?
The distribution company Mover is responsible for transporting the food from our kitchen facilities directly to your door. The evening before your delivery, Mover sends a text with a closer timeframe of two hours. The driver will try and call you if you don’t answer the door, and if you are not home, Mover always finds a solution for the delivery. This way, you don’t have to be home, when the box is delivered.

What if I haven’t received my box?
If you due to unexpected reasons haven’t received your box, we kindly ask you to send an email to  kundeservice@simplefeast.com. Thank you. Please notice, that Mover has until 5 pm to deliver the box, and unforeseen delays can occur.

How do I unsubscribe?
You can always make changes to your subscriptions, pause it or unsubscribe using our app ‘Simple Feast – Min mad’. The app is available in AppStore and GooglePlay. All you have to do is log in using the e-mail address and password, you signed up with.

There is no fixation for your subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time but be aware that unsubscribing of your next box has to happen before 3 pm on the Friday before your next delivery. This applies to both Weekly Box and Comfort Food.

How do the Weekly Boxes work?
Our Weekly Boxes are entire meals, and you only have to execute a few steps when preparing the meal, e.g. mixing a salad with the dressing, cut a zucchini and sear it, or heat an element, and then serve a delicious meal. The dishes are typically a warm element plus a salad, bread, spread or similar. You get meals for three nights a week, so you can serve easy delicious vegan or vegetarian meals on the days when you don’t have time to cook. Our Weekly Boxes are available in two variations: Green Feast, which is vegetarian meals with cheese and egg, and Vegan Feast, that don’t contain any animal products. The Weekly Box is available as a subscription with weekly delivery, bi-weekly delivery, and deliveries every third and fourth week, and as a one-time purchase. The meals are made to be eaten in the week, they are delivered, and should be stored in the refrigerator at maximum max. 5°C. You can always write to kundeservice@simplefeast.com to find out when your next box is delivered (and potentially skip it), or download our app and manage your subscription from there.

How does the Comfort Food box work?
Our boxes of Comfort Food contain either 1 or 2 of each of the dishes of each month (depending on the ordering of 4 or 8 glasses). The dishes are stewed directly in the jars, and unopened the jars can keep fresh for minimum 30 days in the refrigerator at maximum max. 5°C. Warm the dish in a thick-bottomed saucepan for about 10 minutes and serve with your favorite side dish. The quickest solution would be to serve the dishes with either rice, potatoes, pasta, a rich salad or wholegrain bread, which is why these basic elements are a good thing to have in your pantry. We always suggest easy sides on our website, in our app ‘Simple Feast – Min mad’, or underneath the sleeve of the jar itself. If you want to spend more time cooking, you can also download our Recipe App (Simple Feast Recipes) with plenty of inspiration for tasty sides. Comfort Food is available as a subscription with monthly delivery (every fourth week) and as a one-time purchase. If you have a subscription, your next box is delivered approximately 4 weeks after last delivery. How do I store the meals from Simple Feast?
All our meals should be stored in the refrigerator at maximum max. 5°C. The meals in the Weekly box are made to be eaten in the week, they are delivered. If unopened, the Comfort Food meals can keep fresh for minimum 30 days in the refrigerator at maximum max. 5°C.

What are the thoughts behind our choice of packaging?
All our meals are delivered in FSC-approved cardboard boxes. Our cooling elements are frozen tap water, which you can safely drink once defrosted. The plastic-like packaging, that we use for the meals in our Weekly Boxes, are made from PLA (Polylactic Acid). PLA is a biodegradable material from sustainable sources, such as residual fibres from the production of corn, sugar and potatoes. When disposing of our PLA, you need to dispose of it with the other residual waste, since it’s the only way the trash-facilities in Denmark can break down PLA. Only under conditions, that are just right, can PLA be degraded in nature (depending on temperature, humidity, closed environment, etc.), and it cannot be disposed of with other types of plastic since it cannot be recycled in the same manner. However, PLA is produced without any use of fossil fuels, and so it is preferred over plastic production.

We’re always working on improving our packaging, and should a better alternative present itself, we will not hesitate to use this instead.

Do you take the packaging back?
Our distributor, Mover, makes sure to take the used packaging with them when they deliver your next box. All you have to do is place it in front of your door when deliver bring the box.

How do I know what is in the meals?
You can always see the current meals on our website, where you can find ingredient lists, nutritional content and serving tips if you click on Read more. You can see your latest delivery in our app ‘Simple Feast – Min mad’.

All of our meals are 100% organic and contain no preservatives or additives.

Why do your meals not contain meat anymore?
After a lot of consideration, we decided not to serve dishes with meat anymore. This is due to our focus on your health and the well-being of our planet. You can read more about it in this post on our blog: Breaking Up with Meat

How do I know when my next box is being delivered?
You can download our app ‘Simple Feast – Min mad’ from AppStore or GooglePlay. In the app, you can manage your subscription and see your next delivery.

Can I choose which day I want my box delivered?
Unfortunately, you cannot choose your delivery day. We only deliver on Tuesdays, since this is the agreement we have with our distributor. You can always postpone your delivery by skipping it, and thus choose which week you want your delivery.

Can I choose my own meals?
Unfortunately, you cannot choose your own meals.
